Garden State Parkway Inspection
As the Prime Consultant for 2017 and 2018, LSEA inspected and provided inspection reports for 250 bridges located in the southern region of the Garden State Parkway.
NJ Transit Bridge Inspection
As the Prime Consultant, LSEA performed inspections and structural rating analyses of multiple projects with approximately 500 bridges carrying New Jersey Transit rail lines.

Past Projects
West Hudson Park Bridge Rehabilitation
LSEA prepared the preliminary and final design contract plans, specifications and engineer’s estimate, and provided construction support services for the rehabilitation and widening of the West Hudson Park Arch Bridge in Kearny, NJ.
Fanny Road Bridge Replacement
LSEA handled the design, construction inspection, and management of replacement of the Fanny Road Bridge over New Jersey Transit's Booton line for NJDOT.

World Trade Center Memorial Site Condition Survey
In 2017, LSEA was selected by the Port Authority of NY & NJ to perform a condition survey of the World Trade Center Memorial site and 9/11 Memorial Building, and provide a condition survey report.
Teterboro Airport Condition Inspection
LSEA performed condition inspection on 7 buildings within Teterboro Airport, including office buildings, hangers, the tower, and the museum.
Evergreen Facade Assessment
LSEA provided facade assessment services for the Evergreen Corporation at One Evertrust Plaza, by using a UAC for performing the inspection.

Evertrust Plaza in Jersey City
LSEA has provided various A & E services for the Evergreen Corporation, including the design of a 3 story elevated addition at the back of the building, chiller and cooling tower replacement, elevator upgrade, and full HVAC replacement.
Morris County Courthouse
LSEA was involved in the asbestos abatement, cornings upgrade, elevator improvement, handicap lift installation, and building expansion.

Nanjing University Stadium Design
LSEA, teamed with Nadel Architects, provided Architectural/ Engineering Services for the conceptual design of this Stadium for Nanjin University in Nanjing, China. The total area was about twenty four thousand square meters, with estimated construction costs of $24,000,000.

City Hall of Jersey City Electrical System Restoration
LSEA was retained by Jersey City to investigate and provide complete restoration services of the electrical system at the City Hall of Jersey City. The entire electrical system was submerged by water from Hurricane Sandy, and needed to be replaced.
Boonton Housing Authority Boiler System Replacement
LSEA provided A/E services for replacing the domestic hot water boiler system of Riverview apartment building for Boonton Housing Authority.
Evergreen Fire Pump Replacement
LSEA engineered the fire pump replacement for Evergreen International corporate headquarters building.
Site and Highway Engineering

LSEA is part of the teams providing preliminary and final design of deck reconstruction and miscellaneous improvements for high priority bridges on the Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension.
Hudson County Passaic Avenue Resurfacing
LSEA provided design and construction management for the Rehabilitation of Passaic Ave Bridge Over Passaic River Bank and Secaucus Road Bridge over Penhorn Creek.

Structural Safety and Security Auditing
Safety Audits provide the necessary oversight to ensure that System Safety Program Plans are being properly followed and implemented correctly. Our engineers conduct thorough safety audits, and work to ensure that safety programs are meeting the required standards set by the oversight agencies.
Through measuring and collecting information about a safety program's reliability and effectiveness, and through on-site inspections, we are able to determine whether that safety program is meeting safety goals. LSEA has provided Safety Auditing services to various state agencies, local municipalities, and private sectors.
Drone Assisted Inspections
LSEA has partnered up with Y Bird Airways, a leading innovator for the integration of drone technology towards the best safety, security, and reliability in the service industry. Using Y Bird Airways's drone inspection technologies, we are able to easily take large amounts of photos and videos of an inspection site, and then use that information to generate a 3D model.
The use of drones for site and structural assessment allows for us to perform inspections without the need for scaffolding or climbing, and provide HD pictures of the entire site or structure. This supplemental inspection service helps our engineers to get a good view of previously inaccessible or difficult to access locations.
Past Projects
NJTA Antenna Tower Inspection
As the Prime Consultant for 2017, LSEA provided inspection services for 15 towers along the GSP, and 10 towers along the Turnpike.
High Mast Lighting at JFK and Newark Airports
LSEA performed a condition survey of the sign and high mast lighting structures at JFK International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport.
WMATA Safety Audit
LSEA provided safety review services for the State Oversight Agency by performing an on-site review of WMATA's implementation of its system safety program plan.
PATCO Line Safety Audit
LSEA was involved in the inspection of the various structures including: stations, platforms, viaducts, tunnels, bridges, buildings, and retaining walls within the PATCO line.
Traffic Engineering
Most of the bridges that LSEA has provided the design and construction engineering supporting services, for new or replacement of them included traffic engineering studies, milling and resurfacing of adjacent roadways, eventually necessary temporary detours layout and the design of new gas and water lines carried within the structures.
Past Projects
Fanny Road over NJ Transit
LSEA, as the prime consultant, provided final scoping, design, and construction engineering support services for this project. Extensive coordination with NJ Transit and utility companies was required for detours, track outages, flagging personnel, and for the relocation of affected utilities.
NJ Transit Aberdeen-Matawan Park and Ride Study
The traffic analysis included: reviewing of existing studies and data, performing a field survey of the triangle site and surrounding intersections, and the development of six traffic simulation models. LSEA developed a concept plan to estimate the amount of decked parking that could be provided adjacent to the Aberdeen-Matawan train station on the triangle site.
